Prior to co-founding Westcott Real Estate Partners, David acted as Senior Managing Director for Greystar Development and Construction Services and was a Greystar Executive Committee Member, overseeing the Central South, Mountain, and Midwest regions of the US, as well as Canada. Over his career, David has developed more than 14,600 units with a total capitalization value of roughly $5B, in projects spanning major US markets, employing a variety of capitalization and ownership structures tailored to each transaction. David’s development experience includes a broad spectrum of residential communities and products, including lower-density suburban products, grocery-anchored and other mixed-use developments, and high-rise communities in urban centers. David’s development experience also includes Logistics having developed multiple sites that total 1.87M square feet. Prior to joining Greystar, David served as Executive Vice President for Grayco Partners and was a Development Partner at The Finger Companies, where he was also an Executive Vice President and directed the firm’s US development activities. David began his real estate career as a commercial real estate lending officer for both JP Morgan Chase and Guaranty Federal Bank in Houston, Texas. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baylor University.

Prior to co-founding Westcott Real Estate Partners, Trent served as Senior Managing Director for Greystar’s Development and Construction Services co-leading Central South, Mountain and Midwest region of the US, as well as Canada. From June 2021 - July 2024 Trent was placed on the national development platform in a leadership role to oversee project execution across the US. Trent was responsible for providing guidance and support to all the regional development and construction teams. While in this role Greystar averaged 39 construction (43,519 units) starts with an average size of $108mm, for a total capitalization of $16.84B. Trent oversaw monthly reporting by the regional teams with an annual average of 92 active projects and delivered 37,775 units. As part of this national leadership role Trent was placed on Greystar's Investment Committee as a voting member of every proposed development opportunity. Prior to this national leadership role Trent led the Central and Mountain Development and Construction team from January 2008 - June 2021. During this tenure Trent closed over 25 ventures, representing over 6,800 units, for a total capitalization of over $1.6 billion. In addition to this Trent played a significant role partnering with other company leaders building a best-in-class development and construction business, growing the team from 27 employees in January 2008 to 1,000 employees in December 2024.
Previous to Trent's Development role at Greystar he was Vice President of Construction and was responsible for all aspects of construction activities for projects within his region which was primarily Texas and Louisiana. In that role, Trent oversaw the completion of approximately 10,000 multifamily units, for a total construction value exceeding $650 million. Trent began his career at Greystar in 1999 as a Senior Project Manager overseeing Greystar first three self-performed multi-family communities, one in New Orleans, one in Memphis, and one on Daniels Island in Charleston, SC. Prior to joining Greystar Trent worked for Miner-Dederick Construction as Vice President of Construction for 10 years, where he was involved in all aspects of construction activities for their commercial construction projects. Trent holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Gary Wallace brings more than 35 years of experience in real estate development,
construction, and project management to his role at Westcott Real Estate Partners. He has overseen more than $2.2 billion in development projects, including the successful delivery of over 10,000 multifamily units across the United States and Canada.
Before joining Westcott, Gary served as Managing Director of U.S. Central
Development at Greystar Real Estate Partners, where he led market-rate multifamily, student housing, active adult, and industrial developments throughout the Midwest and Canada. His career also includes leadership positions at Hanscomb Inc., Century Development, and the Lone Star College System, where he managed $250 million in bond-funded capital improvements.
Gary is a former member of the American Institute of Architects and the Texas Society of Architects, with two decades of professional involvement in both organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from lowa State University and a Master of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University.
